This is the solid remains, grape residues after pressing for wine production. The distillate from these fermented grape residues has
different names and / or different provisions for production depending on the region.
To name just a few: The Tresterbrand is from Germany, Grappa from Italy, Marc from France. Just like the wines of these regions, the
distillates of the pomaces differ considerably in their taste.
A variety of different distillates are always available in our stock.
We would like to emphasise the geographically protected Marc de Champagne, which, just like
Champagne, is produced by the following types of grapes: Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay. In addition to the processing distillates, we also offer aged distillates.
